Nicholas S. Carter, a 23-year-old from DeKalb County, was fatally shot outside Atlanta's aBs Music Studios on September 16, 2023. The incident occurred on Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard near McDaniel Street in southwest Atlanta. According to his parents, Angela Virden and Scott Carter, Nicholas was shot in the neck and did not make it inside the studio before the attack.
