Nino Fortson, a 36-year-old transgender man of color, was tragically shot to death on May 13, 2018, in Atlanta, GA. Fortson, also known by the names Nino Starr and Nino Blahnik, was a gender-expansive individual who actively participated in Atlanta's ballroom scene, often competing in the "Butch Realness" category.
