In the late hours of an early autumn evening in Social Circle, Georgia, a sense of disquiet settled over Spring Street. On Wednesday, October 4, 2023, the tranquility was shattered by the sound of a gunshot, prompting a call to Walton County 911 at approximately 11 p.m. Social Circle police officers were dispatched to 517 Spring Street, where they discovered 40-year-old Jarbar Hector on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wound.
