Daryus Bryant, a 16-year-old student at Manchester High School in Meriwether County, Georgia, was fatally shot in a shooting incident that occurred late on Saturday, April 20, 2024, in Columbus, Georgia. The shooting took place near the intersection of Macon and Lake Shore roads. Columbus Police Department officers responded to the scene at approximately 11:50 p.m. after reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, they found two vehicles with bullet holes and two individuals who had been shot.
