In the spring of 2024, the life of 27-year-old Ambreia Davison was tragically cut short in LaGrange, Georgia. On the evening of May 1st, police responded to a call at an apartment complex on Borton Street where they found Davison with a gunshot wound to her chest. She was quickly transported to WellStar West Georgia Medical Center, but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries.
A second woman, 39-year-old Beshellima Huguley, was also found at the scene with a gunshot wound and was taken to
a trauma center in Columbus for treatment. Investigators determined that both women were inside an apartment when multiple shots were fired into the residence from outside by unknown assailants.
By the end of May, the LaGrange Police Department announced the arrest of three suspects in connection with the fatal shooting. Micah Hill and Volontae Anderson, both 20 years old, along with 19-year-old Rodreqious Colton, were taken into custody. The three men face serious charges, including murder, multiple counts of aggravated assault, and several weapons offenses. Hill and Anderson were already incarcerated on unrelated charges at the time of their arrest in Davison's case.
Ambreia, known to her loved ones as Amber, was a graduate of Callaway High School and had attended Albany State University. She was also a veteran of the United States Navy, where she served as a Navy Police Officer. She is remembered by her family, including her young daughter, London.
