In the early evening of Memorial Day, a domestic tragedy unfolded in the parking lot of a Jr Food Mart in LaGrange, Georgia, claiming the life of 48-year-old Serrita Jasmine. On May 29, 2023, law enforcement responded to reports of gunfire at the convenience store located on Whitesville Road.

Upon their arrival, officers discovered a male and a female, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical aid was rendered at the scene. The male, identified as Leroy Jasmine, was pronounced ...
