On May 19, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in Lilburn, Georgia, resulting in the death of 30-year-old Kevin D. Valdez from Duluth. The incident was reported around 3:15 a.m. when police received a 911 call about a shooting in the parking lot of 880 Indian Trail Lilburn Road. Upon arrival, officers found Valdez shot to death inside his car, which was parked in the lot.
