On March 21, 2015, Bryant Murray, a 44-year-old resident of Tampa, Florida, was fatally shot while visiting an acquaintance's apartment at 1743 W. Walnut Avenue. The incident occurred late in the evening as Murray was playing dominoes with others inside the apartment. According to witnesses, a vehicle drove by and shots were fired at the residence, striking Murray. He was taken to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
