Ronald Leon Stem, aged 57, tragically passed away on February 9, 2006, in Tampa, Florida. Stem, a former student and staff member at the University of South Florida (USF), was shot to death outside the Magnolia Apartments on the USF campus. This incident marked the first murder on the USF campus since 1994. Stem, who had served in the Army for 20 years and was a veteran of the Vietnam War and Desert Storm, was working at Tansu Woodworks, Inc. in Tampa at the time of his death. He was known for h ...
