On June 16, 2017, 18-year-old Antwan Jenrette Jr. was shot and killed in Tampa, Florida. The incident took place in the evening at the intersection of North 36th Street and East Shadowlawn Avenue. Officers responded to reports of gunshots, and Jenrette was found critically injured. He was transported to Tampa General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
