Lyfe Coleman, an 18-year-old African American male from Tampa, Florida, was tragically murdered on January 5, 2015. The incident occurred in the early morning hours when Lyfe was gunned down in the front yard of his family's home on Jefferson Street. His aunt, who was inside the house at the time, heard him yell followed by two gunshots. She rushed outside to find Lyfe lying in a pool of blood. This shocking event marked the first murder recorded in Tampa for the year 2015.
