Ronald Felton, a 60-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on November 14, 2017, in Tampa, Florida. Felton was shot in the head while crossing the street in the Seminole Heights neighborhood, on his way to feed the homeless at New Seasons Apostolic Church. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 4:51 a.m., and police arrived shortly after to find Felton lying dead in the road.
