On June 23, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the Glenrose Heights neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Serenity Taylor.
The incident took place near 56 Baker Drive SW, where police were called to the scene at 3:33 p.m. Upon arrival, they found two victims: a man and a woman. The woman, later identified as Serenity Taylor, was pronounced dead at the scene. The man, who was the target of the confrontation, was rushed to the hospital by ambulance.
