Serenity Taylor, a 21-year-old Black woman from Atlanta, died on June 23, 2024, after gunfire erupted near 56 Baker Drive SW in the city’s Glenrose Heights area. Atlanta police said officers were dispatched at about 3:33 p.m. on a report of a person shot and arrived to find two victims, an adult woman and an adult man, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
