Shannon Boswell, a 30-year-old Black transgender woman from Stone Mountain, Georgia, was tragically killed on July 2, 2024. Initially, her death was thought to be the result of a hit-and-run car crash, but subsequent investigations revealed that she had been shot before being run over.
