In the summer of 2024, a quiet suburban street in Snellville, Georgia, became the scene of a heart-wrenching tragedy that cut short the life of 61-year-old Johnita Weaver. A Black/African American female, Weaver was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her kind and straightforward nature. Her life, however, came to a violent end on July 11, in what authorities have described as a domestic-related homicide.
