On July 14, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in Norcross, Georgia, resulting in the death of 38-year-old Gerardo Reyes-Fentanes. The incident took place on Jimmy Carter Blvd., just south of Rockbridge Rd., where Gwinnett County Police Department officers responded to a call at approximately 9 p.m..
