On July 28, 2024, 14-year-old Kendarius Carter was tragically shot and killed in Clayton County, Georgia. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. in an unoccupied townhome on Old Dogwood, near Tara Boulevard, just down the street from where Kendarius lived with his mother. According to police, Kendarius was with a group of people when someone entered the townhome and shot him in the neck.
