In the late morning of August 1, 2024, the life of 24-year-old Donato Bradford II was cut short by gunfire in northwest Atlanta. Police were called to the Westmar Lofts on West Marietta Street around 9:30 a.m., where they discovered Bradford with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Bradford, who grew up in Augusta and was a student at the SAE Institute Atlanta, was a resident of the apartment complex.
