On July 31, 2024, 36-year-old Shakema Toran was last seen on T.J. Kelly Road in Augusta, Georgia. She was believed to be traveling with her boyfriend of two months, 37-year-old Barritz Martin, in a white 2004 Ford F-250. Following her disappearance, Toran's mother received text messages from her daughter's phone that seemed uncharacteristic and raised concerns about her well-being.
