In the late summer of 2024, the life of 18-year-old Jeffrey Tyler Ray of Rydal, Georgia, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Sunday, August 25th, a gathering of young people at an outdoor party on Sexton Road in Resaca, Murray County, turned violent. During the event, gunshots rang out, striking Ray.
