On September 22, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred at the Mableton Ridge Apartments located at 6660 Mableton Parkway in Mableton, Georgia. The victim, 27-year-old Namarri Shackleford, was shot around 9 p.m. and was subsequently taken to a local hospital by ambulance. Despite medical efforts, she was later pronounced deceased.
