On October 11, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred at a gas station in the 4100 block of Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Norcross, Georgia. The victim, identified as Anthony Bernard Miles, a 41-year-old man, was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound in the gas station's parking lot. Despite being transported to a local hospital, Miles succumbed to his injuries and died.
