On May 31, 2015, 14-year-old African American male Edward James Harris IV, known to his family and friends as “EJ,” was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting in Tampa, Florida. The incident occurred around 4:20 p.m. outside Woodland Terrace Park, near the intersection of North 32nd and East Diana Streets, just a block from his home.
