Nathan Holloway, a 46-year-old man, was fatally shot on April 12, 2022, in northwest Miami-Dade, Florida. The incident occurred in the 6900 block of Northwest 21st Court, where police responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 9:15 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Holloway lying on the ground, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Holloway was outside a residence when an unknown gunman approached him on foot, produced a firearm, and shot him several times.
The suspect then fled the scene on foot, entered a vehicle, and drove away from the area. Surveillance footage captured the suspect's escape, showing the individual fleeing and getting into a car before leaving the scene.
Holloway was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where he later died from his injuries. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and as of the latest updates, no arrests have been made in connection with the crime.
Police have released the surveillance footage in hopes of gathering more information and identifying the suspect.
