On May 10, 2023, a tragic incident occurred at the Residences West Place Apartments in the 700 block of Sherwood Terrace Drive in Pine Hills, Orlando, Florida. Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene around 10:10 a.m. after a report of a man with a gun inside the apartment.
