On July 22, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred in an Orlando, Florida neighborhood, resulting in the death of 41-year-old Marcus Demetrius Demps. The incident took place in the 1000 block of Dewitt Drive, where police responded to a call regarding a wounded individual around 2:35 p.m..
Upon arrival, officers found an injured man and initiated life-saving measures. Despite these efforts, Marcus Demps was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
