On October 29, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred in Ybor City, Tampa, Florida, resulting in the deaths of two individuals, including 20-year-old Harrison Boonstoppel. Boonstoppel, described by his parents as friendly and humorous, was an innocent bystander at the time of the shooting. He and his friends had stopped by Ybor City after leaving a nearby Halloween party, intending to check out the scene for only about 20 minutes before the incident occurred.
