Conrad Alexander Holaway, a 17-year-old resident of Winter Park, Florida, died on December 19, 2023, due to injuries from gun violence. He was found deceased in his home on Zelina Point by his family members, who had reported hearing multiple gunshots around 3 a.m. that morning. Upon checking on Conrad later in the day, they found him unresponsive in his bedroom and immediately called 911.
The investigation by the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office revealed that the murder was linked to a series of disagreements between Conrad and one of his friends, Alan Javon Morris, 19, of Orlando. Morris had been temporarily staying at the Holaway residence for several weeks but was told to move out by December 14. Despite this, Morris returned to the house on December 19 and shot Conrad multiple times through a window.
Alan Javon Morris was arrested on January 12, 2024, based on an active warrant for one count of first-degree premeditated murder.
Morris also faces additional charges of two counts of lewd and lascivious battery on a minor in an unrelated case. He has been booked into the John E. Polk Correctional Facility with no bond set.
Another individual, Isaiah Allen Crisp, has also been charged and arrested in connection with Conrad's homicide. Crisp is facing charges of first-degree premeditated murder, with no bond set, although details of his alleged involvement in the crime have not been fully disclosed.
Conrad's death has left a profound impact on his family, particularly his mother, Delina Davis, who described him as a compassionate and kind individual who would do anything for others. The family has set up a memorial fundraiser to help cover funeral expenses and living costs during their grieving process.
