On December 24, 2023, a deadly shooting occurred in the Lockhart area of Orange County, Florida. Stephanie Diane Cortes, a 25-year-old woman, was among the victims and died at the scene. The incident took place in the 2800 block of Sudman Way, where deputies responded to reports of a shooting shortly before 2:30 a.m.
