Elias Nassah, a 35-year-old male security guard, tragically lost his life on August 8, 2021, in Orlando, Florida. Elias Nassah was working as a security guard at the Days Inn near the Orange County Jail when the incident occurred. On the night of the shooting, Nassah was accompanied by his girlfriend. Around 11:22 p.m., Nassah heard a man, later identified as 23-year-old Michael Chinn Jr., banging on one of the motel room doors.
