On March 4, 2024, a tragic incident occurred at Eastwood Meadows Apartments in Gainesville, Florida, resulting in the death of 24-year-old Tyren Certain. The incident took place around 4:30 p.m. when Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to multiple calls from residents reporting gunfire.
