Verl Harmon, a 27-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on September 25, 2017, in Gainesville, Florida. The incident occurred at the Sunset Apartments, located at 1515 NW 12th Street. Police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting in the early hours of the morning.
