On April 12, 2024, 19-year-old John Dewayne Lee Connor was found deceased at his residence in Dalkeith, south of Wewahitchka, Florida. The Gulf County Sheriff’s Office received a call in the morning, initially reporting a missing person, which was quickly followed by a report of a body found on the property at 3160 CR 381. Deputies arrived at the scene at 7:44 a.m. CT.
