Roger Pleaugh, a 45-year-old man, was discovered on November 13, 2005, in Tallahassee, Florida, suffering from severe head injuries. Pleaugh had been assaulted near a makeshift camp behind West Georgia Street, where he lived. He told responding officers that he had been drinking, attacked, and robbed before managing to crawl to the sidewalk for help.
