On June 9, 2024, 16-year-old Travaris Lamar Odol was tragically shot and killed at the Island Pointe Apartments on Jacksonville's Northside. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m., when police responded to reports of a shooting and found Travaris and another 16-year-old, Stanley K.
