On July 3, 2024, a fatal shooting and crash occurred in Tamarac, Florida, resulting in the death of 25-year-old Christopher Mathurin. The incident took place near the 6300 block of West Commercial Boulevard, where authorities responded to reports of a crash and shots fired shortly after 2:19 a.m.
