On July 8, 2024, a devastating drive-by shooting occurred in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, resulting in the death of 28-year-old Tiarra Holliday. The incident happened shortly before 8 p.m. near the 800 block of Northwest 10th Terrace. Tiarra, a resident of Plantation, was among a group of people who were targeted by gunfire from a silver sedan with dark-tinted windows. The vehicle slowed down as it made a right turn, and someone on the passenger side opened the rear door and began shooting.
