Mary Louise Amzibel, a 69-year-old woman originally from Ohio, was tragically killed on January 6, 2017, during a mass shooting at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Amzibel was among five victims who lost their lives when Esteban Santiago, a 26-year-old man, opened fire in the baggage claim area of the airport.
