On July 14, 2024, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Orlando police officers responded to reports of shots fired near Lake Lawne Park, specifically at the intersection of Lake Lawne Avenue and Lawne Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered a vehicle that had crashed into a residence. Inside, 19-year-old Christopher Louis Dumesle was found with a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
