On December 14, 2017, 18-year-old Robert Centeno was found fatally shot outside the Venetian Place apartments in Orlando, Florida. The Orlando Police Department responded to the scene around 7:20 p.m. and discovered Centeno lying on the sidewalk. Witnesses reported seeing the shooter or shooters in a black Honda sedan. The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately clear, but the incident was treated as a homicide from the outset.
