Upon arrival, deputies found Trusty suffering from several gunshot wounds and unresponsive. He was immediately rushed to the Cleveland Clinic of Indian River County, where he was pronounced dead by medical staff.
The Indian River County Sheriff's Office has been actively investigating the case, utilizing all available resources including patrol deputies, detectives, and the crime scene unit.
