On August 23, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred at Adams Grocery located at 2121 N. Tamarind Avenue in West Palm Beach, Florida. The victim, 21-year-old Tysen Mikenzie Cox, was shot while he was in his car. According to the investigation, Cox was shot in the chest and managed to drive away from the scene but crashed into another car on 25th Street. He collapsed and was found unresponsive by witnesses, who attempted to perform CPR. Despite their efforts, Cox died at the scene at 8:20 p.m.
