On September 23, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred at Antojitos Mexicanos, a restaurant located at 3943 Davie Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The incident happened shortly before 1:30 a.m. and resulted in the death of 54-year-old Socorro Camacho.
