In the quiet city of Cañon City, Colorado, the life of William L. 'Bill' Tippet Jr., a 72-year-old male, came to a tragic and violent end on the evening of January 6, 2023. A Navy veteran and longtime truck driver, Tippet was found deceased in his home on the 400 block of South Raynolds Avenue, a place that should have been his sanctuary. The Fremont County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene to find him with signs of trauma, later determined to be two gunshot wounds to the back of his head ...
