On the morning of January 5, 2024, in the quiet 1600 block of Locust Street in Cañon City, Colorado, the sound of gunfire shattered the peace, leading to a grim discovery. Law enforcement officers from the Fremont County Sheriff's Office and the Cañon City Police Department were dispatched to the scene following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they found two men who had sustained gunshot wounds.
The victims were identified as 38-year-old Raymond Webb, a White male, and
32-year-old Guy Walk, both residents of Cañon City. Medical aid was rendered, but both men were pronounced dead at the residence. The Fremont County Coroner's Office later officially ruled the cause and manner of both deaths as homicide.
