On the morning of January 5, 2024, in the quiet 1600 block of Locust Street in Cañon City, Colorado, the sound of gunfire shattered the peace, leading to a grim discovery. Law enforcement officers from the Fremont County Sheriff's Office and the Cañon City Police Department were dispatched to the scene following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they found two men who had sustained gunshot wounds.
