In the early hours of September 6, 2023, the body of 31-year-old Hispanic female, Lluvia Robles-Banuelos, was discovered along the South Platte River Trail in Denver, Colorado. She had been fatally shot just before 12:30 a.m. in the area under Interstate 70. Her death marked the beginning of a series of events that would instill fear in the local community.
