Angel Rae Meyers, a 43-year-old female, had built a life in Parker, Colorado, centered around her children and her crafting business. She was known for her sarcastic and funny personality, and was a devoted advocate for her 7-year-old son, Dane, who was autistic. Her creativity and dedication to her son led her to start a business creating and selling t-shirts with witty phrases related to autism.
On January 11, 2024, Angel's life was tragically cut short in what investigators have
described as a murder-suicide. Her partner, 38-year-old Brandon Timms, fatally shot her at their home on Blackwolf Drive. After killing Angel, Timms drove with her son, Dane, to the Rueter-Hess Incline, a location about five miles from downtown Parker.
At the incline, Timms shot and killed the young boy before turning the gun on himself. When law enforcement responded to the scene, they discovered the bodies of Timms and the child. About an hour later, officers conducting a welfare check at Angel's residence found her deceased. In addition to the tragic discovery at the home, a gas leak was also reported. The motive behind this devastating act has not been released by investigators. Angel is survived by her daughter.
