In the summer of 2024, the life of 21-year-old Jaya Capri Flores was tragically cut short in Denver, Colorado. On August 1, 2024, the young Hispanic woman died from gun violence in what authorities described as a murder-suicide. The incident also resulted in the death of a 21-year-old man.
