On an autumn evening in Marion, Arkansas, the life of 26-year-old Cortez Brown was tragically cut short. On Saturday, October 7, 2023, at approximately 8:30 p.m., the Crittenden County Sheriff's Office received a distressing call reporting gunfire in the 300 block of Stonebrook Loop. Upon their arrival, deputies discovered the body of a young man, later identified as Cortez Brown, who had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
