On May 7, 2024, a homicide occurred at the Willowbend Apartments located at 300 Marshall Road in Jacksonville, Arkansas. The victim, identified as 43-year-old Wali Johnson, was found deceased with a gunshot wound. Police officers responded to the scene around 6:07 a.m. after receiving reports of a suspicious incident or an unconscious person lying outside one of the apartments.
